Hot Cocoa and Snow – Howland’s Island X-C Skiing

Get your blood pumping with a refreshing cross-country ski at Howland’s Island, one of the wildest places in Montezuma! We’ll ski about two-miles of trails through woods and open field in search of nesting bald eagles, migrating waterfowl, and mammals that are waking up from their winter slumber. Enjoy a nice cup of hot cocoa after the program back at the center. Participants must bring their own skis.
Fee: $3/child, $5/adult, $15/family. Friends of the Montezuma Wetlands Complex receive a 50% discount. Space is limited and registration is required. Please call 315-365-3588 or e-mail montezuma@audubon.org.
