Operation Graduation Slates

Chicken & Biscuit Dinner

Operation Graduation 2013 will have a Chicken & Biscuit Dinner at the Penn Yan Elks Club on Wednesday, March 13. Serving will be 5 to 7 p.m. Diners may eat in or takeouts will be available. The Elks Club is located on Main Street in Penn Yan.

There will be a variety of items up for bid at the dinner as well, including a wine basket and gift certificates from area businesses. The items will be on display and attendees can place silent bids for them.

Tickets for the dinner are $8 each and are available at the following Penn Yan businesses: Ameriprise Financial and Longs’ Cards and Books, Main Street; Family Hair Care, Liberty Street; NAPA Auto Parts, East Main Street, and Trombley’s Tire & Auto, Elm Street, as well as from parents of Penn Yan Academy seniors. Meals for children 4 and under are free.

Operation Graduation is sponsored by parents, friends and local sponsors to provide a drug and alcohol-free evening for Penn Yan Academy graduates. The graduates will have a fun, safe night with games, entertainment, music, food and memories
