Holiday Decorating with Nature and History

Tuesday, November 27, 2012 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm Cornell Cooperative Extension 480 North Main Street, Canandaigua, NY 14424 Canandaigua, NY – The class will consist of an illustrated lecture exploring the ancient and traditional origins of holiday decorations. Examples from ancient Rome, Norway, England and the United States will be discussed. Stacey VanDenburgh, Ontario County Master Gardener will be the presenter for this class. Also, how to make decorations inspired by nature will be covered and demonstrated. Demonstrations will include how to make a Williamsburg swag and grapevine wreath, plus tips and tricks on how to decorate them.
