On Thursday, November 8th- the Waterloo Music Department will again be hosting a Veterans' Day Dinner/Concert to honor America's truest heroes.  It begins with a dinner for Veterans and one guest in the high school cafeteria and concludes with a concert in the high school auditorium involving High School Bands, Middle School Bands, High School Choirs, and Select  Chorus with the National Anthem beginning at 7:00.  The concert concludes with all groups and audience members participating in God Bless America.  All are welcome to attend the concert. In order to acquire the appropriate amount of food, Veterans who wish to attend the dinner need to return the bottom portion of this sheet to the inviting student’s music teacher ASAP or contact Mr. Humphrey (high school director of bands) at:

This is our eighth year of providing this event.  Last year was a stirring success which was gratifying for all involved.  We hope to have a packed house again as we do our small part to honor those who have provided us the freedom to choose who we honor.
