Finger Lakes Health’s Yates County Area Diabetes Support Group will meet on Thursday, September 6 from 2 to 3 p.m. at St. Mark’s Terrace, 110 Chapel Street, Penn Yan. The topic for September will be “Being Prepared for Sick Days & Emergencies”. The topic presentation will be followed by a time to chat.
Diabetics, their family members, friends and caregivers are invited to participate in this group, which meets monthly on the first Thursday of the month, except in December.
Attendees should use the south entrance at St. Mark’s Terrace near Tops Market and buzz the office for entrance to the facility. The support group will meet in the dining room.
Attendees will receive a recipe of the month and each meeting will include a food tasting.
