An original play, “A Night in the Slammer, A Day in the Clink.” written by Larry Ann Evans and Anne Salerno for the Wayne County Historical Society will be performed September 14-16 at the Museum.

“A Night in the Slammer, a Day in the Clink” is a progressive play that will lead the audience through a voyeuristic journey through the museum as pieces of history from the old jail come to life. The play highlights five former criminals from the Wayne County Jail from 1860-1956. Audience members will even be served a Jailhouse meal of stew, cornbread and cider and dessert.

The show will be Sept 14-16. Friday and Saturday show times are 5:00, 6:00 7:00 and 8:00, Sunday 12pm, 1:00 and 2:00. Tickets are adults $20, Seniors and Students $15.
There are ONLY TEN SEATS AVAILABLE FOR EACH SHOW. Reservations are required for all shows by calling the Museum at 315 946 4943. Advanced ticket reservations should be made by September 6. Payment must be made by September 11. No tickets will be sold at the door.
This new play concept is an exciting way to experience theatre up close and personal, giving you a behind the scenes look at life at the old jail.
