DESCRIPTION:The Yates County Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) will hold its annual Turkey Dinner with all the trimmings on Thursday, September 13 at the United Methodist Church in Penn Yan. Chef Steve Owens is preparing the full-course meal, to be served from 4:30-7 p.m. Prices are $9 for adults and $4.50 for children under age 12. Takeouts are available.  Walk-ins will be limited. Advance-sale tickets are available from any AAUW member, or at Long’s Cards and Books. Proceeds from the dinner will be used to fund the “Marcia Dugan Interrupted Studies Scholarship,” an annual award to a Yates County woman wanting to return to her academic studies.
