SUMMARY:Pioneer Gas Engine Association's 48th Annual Show
LOCATION:The Marion Town Park, Marion NY 14505
DESCRIPTION:The Pioneer Gas Engine Association will be holding it’s 48th Annual Show on Friday July 27th & Saturday July 28th at The Marion Town Park. This year’s show will feature displays and demonstrations utilizing antique gas engines, tractors, steam engines, and other farm eq...ipment. Over the show’s two day course there will also be a flea/craft market, cake walks, parades, and demonstrations of stone crushing, a blacksmith, & antique chainsaws. The children’s pedal tractor pull will be on Saturday at 11:00am. There will be a parade of antique tractors & other moveable equipment on Saturday at 1:00pm (approx.) through the Town of Marion. The antique tractor pulls will take place on Friday at 5:00pm, Saturday 4:00pm. ( All participants must have stock equipment 1956 or older, tractors on display during the show and a 2010 membership.) There will be a "Happy Hour" Practice & set up on Thursday July 26th. Food service will be provided by The Round Boys Catering Company, plus other refreshments will be available throughout the show. The Association will have tee-shirts, hats & other souveniers as well as 50/50 Raffle tickets for sale.The association would like to encourage more than ever, Antique Gas Engine enthusists to bring their engine displays for the show.
