DESCRIPTION:After the year-long multi-million dollar restoration of the 100-year-old Emerson Park Pavilion, the transformation is complete! The historic Pavilion is ready to serve as a regional venue that can now host simultaneous events on a year-round basis. The Cayuga County Legislature and the Fred L. Emerson Foundation invite the public and the media to the Dedication and Centennial Celebration of the newly restored Emerson Park Pavilion.WHAT:   Emerson Park Pavilion Dedication and Centennial Celebration – great photo opportunities!WHEN:   Sunday, June 10th, 2012 at 2:30 p.m.WHERE:      Emerson Park Pavilion, Emerson Park               6877 East Lake Rd. (State Route 38A), Auburn, NY The dedication ceremony will take place from 2:30 – 3:00 pm, with a community open house, family friendly tours and refreshments available from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. Photos from the original Pavilion in 1912 through the renovation of the Pavilion in 2011 and 2012 will be on display. Members of the County Legislature, the Fred L. Emerson Foundation, and H&J Hospitality, who now operates the Pavilion, will be on-hand to participate in the dedication ceremony and share their visions for the facility.
