It is much lighter than cement but can still withstand harsh weather conditions. It is primarily used as garden art and is fun and easy to make. Master Gardener, Jeanne Totman will guide you through making a hypertufa planter for your garden or for a gift. Bring a flower pot or planter not much larger than a gallon in size, a piece of board or plywood it will fit on and a large garbage bag. Workshop Fee: $10.00 per person. Pre-registration requested by June 1, 2012 by calling 585-394-3977 x 427 or email your name, address and phone number to nea8@cornell.edu
