Oliver’s, 129 South Main Street in Canandaigua, on Thursday, November 1st from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Join the group to become part of a movement dedicated to connecting the next generation of professionals within the Finger Lakes region.The Finger Lakes Young Professionals (FLYP) offers social networking, professional development, and volunteer opportunities to ambitious young professionals. As the premier organization of its kind in the region, FLYP members are given a forum to improve career skills, develop leadership abilities, build a professional network, and give back to the Greater Finger Lakes Region.“I have made an invaluable amount of both business and social connections though Finger Lakes Young Professionals. It’s comforting to see that there are people my age who are as dedicated to the economic development and the growth of the region as I am. One of the main goals of the group is to prevent young professionals from leaving the area. The Finger Lakes have a lot to offer and we’re taking it upon ourselves to deliver that message” said Cassandra Harrington, FLYP member.
