I.A.C.C. CORO FOLCLORISTICO COLUMBUS DAY CONCERT

An Italian American Columbus Day Concert featuring the I.A.C.C. Coro Folcloristico Gruppo of Rochester will be offered at Willard Memorial Chapel on Monday, October 8, 2012 at 2 PM.   
 
The Gruppo, directed by Paolo Saltarello and accompanied by accordionists Felix Mucedola and Tony Bozza, consists of a blend of male and female voices.  The chorus was formed to continue a tradition of popular Italian folk songs which were brought to the United   States by the prior generations.  They have brought their spirited singing to many public events; they take great pride in their presentations.  The concert will consist of a variety of traditional hymns and songs of Italy.
 
Proceeds from this concert will benefit the Community Preservation Committee and the St. Francis of Assisi Church Social Ministry.  Tickets are $10/person.
