DESCRIPTION:Is your garden overgrowing with tomatoes?&nbsp; Too many zucchini and peppers?&nbsp; Are you wishing you could buy more of those yummy peaches at the farmers market and somehow enjoy them come winter?&nbsp; Then Seneca County Cornell Cooperative Extension (SCCCE) has just the workshop for you!&nbsp; The sixth workshop in the series called &ldquo;From Planning to Canning: Workshops to Prepare You For a Great Gardening Season&rdquo; is scheduled for 6:30PM to 7:30PM on Thursday, August 23rd at the Seneca Falls Library, 47 Cayuga Street.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
Come learn about canning your harvest including the different equipment needed, food safety, and recipes.&nbsp; We will discuss pressure canning, boiling water bath canning, along with freezing and drying as food preservation options.
