Palmyra Woman Charged with DWI After Hitting Hydrant

 

The Canandaigua Police Department reports the arrest of Emillie S. Hinckley, 21, of Palmyra after police responded to a one car property damage motor vehicle accident on Ontario Street. Investigation concluded Hinckley failed to keep right driving into a ditch then striking a fire hydrant. Hinckley was subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated operation of a motor vehilce with a BAC of .18% or higher and several other traffic infractions. She was released with traffic tickets for city court at a later time.
