Farmington Man Charged for Petite Larceny at JCPenney

On Friday, July 05, 2013 21 year old Leshawn D. Williams of Farmington was arrested at the JC Penney at Eastview Mall in the Town of Victor and charged with Petite Larceny, Resisting Arrest, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. It is alleged that Mr. Williams stole a pair of earrings from JC Penney valued at $18.00, resisted efforts by deputies to be handcuffed subsequent to being told he was under arrest, and was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was arraigned in Victor Town Court and committed to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $1,000 insured bond. He will return to Victor Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
