Hammondsport Man Sends Messages to Protected Person

The Canandaigua Police Department reports the arrest of Joseph D. Curtis, 30, of Hammondsport following an investigation involving unwanted phone contact through text messages. Curits is being accused of violating an order of protection by sending text messages of a degrading and profane nature to the protected party. Curtis was charged with felony Criminal Contempt in the1st degree and remanded to the Ontario County Jail without bail.
