Bicyclist Could Face Charges After Accident

Canandaigua police say charges are pending.  City police are investigating a car-bicycle accident.  Police, fire and ambulance personnel responded yesterday to the accident at the intersection of Ontario and North Main Street.  26-year old Stefan Glover of Canandaigua  was riding his bike  when he left the sidewalk and struck a car driven by 59-year old Brian Willett of Churchville.  Glover was thrown from his bike and suffered head and facial injuries.  Police say NYS vehicle and traffic law prohibts the operation of bicycles on public sidewalks.  Their investigation continues.
