On January 29Th 201.3 at 1:35 PM Ontario County Sheriffs Deputies arrested 47 year old Julie A. Fessner at her residence, charging her with Welfare Fraud in the Fifth Degree and Offering a False Instrument for filing in the first Degree (16 Counts),
Sheriffs Deputies state that between November 2011 and July 2012, Julie A. Fessner knowingly and intentionally presented 16 different documents to the Ontario County Department of Social Services that contained false information related to her services as a child care provider. The aforementioned documents contained dates and times that Fessner falsely purported that she was providing child care services for a juvenile who was actually attending a different program on the same documented dates and times. This fraudulent welfare act resulted in Fessner illegally obtaining public assistance benefits having an aggregate value of $303.50.
Fessner was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the City of Geneva Court on February 1, 1th, 2013 at 9:00 AM to answer the charges.
