On 1/5/13, at around 1:59AM, 32-year old Timothy J. Powers of Canandaigua was arrested for DWI when the vehicle he was allegedly operating struck the curbing on Recreation Drive causing front end tire damage. Timothy was also charged with DWI with a BAG greater than .08% when his breath test resulted in a .15% BAC level. It was determined that Timothy bad a suspended drivers license and he was issued citations for Aggravated unlicensed operation in the 3rd degree and failure to keep right when the vehicle crossed the double center lines. He will appear in Hopewell Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
