On Tuesday, January 1st, 2013 25- year old Sasha Smith and 24- yeaer old Chastity Campbell- both of Rochester- were arrested at Eastview Mall in Victor subsequent to a shoplifting complaint at the Macy's store at the mall. It is alleged that the two worked in concert to steal $258.50 worth of clothing and damaged $165.00 worth of said clothing. It is further alleged that Ms. Smith was in possession of a bag that had been modified to aid in the commission of the crime and a tool commonly used to remove security sensors. Both were charged with Petit Larceny and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree; Ms. Smith was also charged with Possession of Burglar's Tools. They were both arraigned in Victor Town Court before Justice T. Reh and committed to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash or $3t000 bond for Ms. Campbell and $500 cash bail or $1,000 bond for Ms. Smith.
