Yates County Sheriff's Investigation alleges that on 11/30/12, 51-year old Vincent Scarpechi of Penn Yan arrived at the YC Jail to fulfill a court mandated weekend of incarceration. During in-processing a Corrections Officer discovered Scarpechi was in possession of unlawful contraband. Scarpechi was compelled to appear before Town of Benton Justice who remanded him to the YC Jail in lieu of bail. $250 cash/ $500 bond. The case was scheduled for Penn Yan Village Court in early December.
