The Seneca County Sheriff's Office reports that on 10-29-12 at 1055 hrs deputies investigated a personal injury motor vehicle accident in the Town of Ovid. Jason F. Bernagozzi 32, of 155 Benton Rd Rochester NY was traveling south on Rt 96 when a vehicle operated by Jonathan L. Weiss 63, of 7685 Hall Rd Interlaken NY entered the
intersection and collided with Bernagozzi's vehicle. Both vehicles were
towed from the scene with heavy damage. Weiss was faulted for not yielding
right of way at intersection. Both drivers were transported to Cayuga Medical
Center where they were treated and released for minor injuries. Interlaken fire
dept. assisted at the scene.
