Ms. Gilsdorf complained of head and back injuries following a motor vehicle accident on Yerkes Road in the Town of Canandaigua. Ms. Gilsdorf was a passenger in a 2003 Ford Pick Up truck that was being operated by Ms. Hastings. It is reported that Ms. Hastings swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway and drove the pick up truck down into a ditch. Ms. Gilsdorf returned home following the accident then reported her injuries to authorities. Ms. Gilsdorf was transported to FF Thompson Hospital by members of the East Bloomfield Ambulance Squad. No other injuries were reported at the scene. All passengers inside the pick up truck were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident and no air bags deployed as a result of the crash.
