29 year old Jessica Smith of Phelps was arrested on 10/23/12 at 1030AM at the Ontario County Jail and charged with promoting prison contraband in the 1st degree. She is accused of possessing crack cocaine after she was brought into the jail for booking on 10/20/12. Ms. Smith was arraigned in Hopewell Town Court and remanded to the Ontario County Jail in lieu of $5000.00 cash bail. She is to reappear in Hopewell Town Court at a later date.
