On 10/12/12 at 5:54 PM a 2007 Chevrolet pick up truck operated by 45-year old Donald E. Vanceseele of Palmyra was traveling northbound on SR 21 and rear ended a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer operated by 42-year old Jason A. Crawford of Ontario, who was also traveling northbound. Crawford complained of neck pain and he was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital, per his request, by Shortsville ambulance. Both parties were wearing their seatbelts and the air bag deployed in Vanceseele's vehicle. Vanceseele was issued a citation for following to close and he will appear before the Manchester Town Court at a later date. Shortsville tire and Finger Lakes Ambulance also responded to the scene.
