On 09/29/12 at 3:20 pm 60 year old John E. Kieffer of Canandaigua was arrested at the Akropolis restaurant located on SR 5, for aggravated driving while intoxicated ( BAG more than . 18) after his vehicle was observed in the ditch nearby. He was determined to be the operator and also found to be intoxicated. He was issued citations and he will appear before the Hopewell Town Court at a later date. His vehicle was towed from the scene and. no injuries were reported.
