Waterloo Police Remind Residents to Lock Cars

The Waterloo Police Department would like to remind residence to keep
their car doors locked and not to keep valuables inside their motor
vehicles.  Over the past couple of weeks the Police Department has
responded to several calls from village residence who reported having had
their vehicles broken into and had items stolen from their unlocked cars.
We would also like to remind residence to keep outdoor items such as
bicycles locked up or placed out of view from the public at night to avoid
them from being stolen.  Please contact the Waterloo Police Department at
315-539-2022 if you have any information on the larcenies or if you had
items stolen from your property.
