Man Arrested in Bath for DWI

Bath State Police arrested Dean French 55, of Bath, NY for driving while intoxicated on Thursday, May 29th. French's vehicle was observed crossing road hazard markings on State Route 415 in the Town of Bath. During interview of French, Troopers observed French to have glassy eyes, poor motor skills, and an odor of an intoxicating beverage emanating from his mouth. Following roadside field sobriety tests, French was arrested for DWI. French supplied Troopers with a breath sample, and was found to have a blood alcohol content of .15%. French was issued tickets for DWI, drinking alcohol in a moving vehicle, and crossing road hazard markings. French was arraigned in the Town of Bath Court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail in lieu of bail.
