It's Not Hopeless in Hopewell But Could Prove Costly

On May 02, 2014 at around 4:27 PM Richard Daniel Falls was arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree, speeding, and unlicensed operation following a traffic stop on County Rd 47 in the Town of Hopewell. According to Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies, the defendant was stopped for traveling faster than the State speed limit of 55 mph and further investigation found that the defendant had a suspended non-driver ID only with five total suspensions and two scofflaws on two separate dates. A check of the defendants driving record found that he was convicted of aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree within the preceding eighteen month period with a conviction date of September 6, 2013. The defendant was arraigned before the Hopewell Town Court and released on his own recognizance. He will appear before the Hopewell Town Court at a later date.
