Interlaken Woman Arrested for Alleged DWI After Flashing Headlights

The Seneca County Sheriff's Office reports that on 2/15/14 at 7:42pm, Sheriff's Deputies arrested Julia A. Billings, 57,of 2872 ST. RT. 96A in Interlaken for Felony DWI. The arrest stems from a traffic stop on State Route 96 in the Town of Covert where it was reported that Billings was flashing her headlights at on coming vehicles
and not using her turn signal appropriately. After further investigation,
Deputies determined that Billings was intoxicated. Billings was arrested for
Felony DWI as well as Felony Aggravated DWI, .18% bac or greater and
unlawful posession of marihuana. Billings was arraigned in the Town of
Varick Court where she was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility
in lieu of $750 cash bail, $1,500 bond. Billings is to re-appear in the Town of
Varick Court on the 19th of February at 7pm for a Felony hearing.
