Del Lago Resort & Casino is pleased to announce it will host the 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit June 20-26. This is the first time the traveling exhibit has been to the region as it has never been in Buffalo, Rochester, Central New York or the Finger Lakes. The exhibit serves as a tribute to those lost on 9/11, including the 343 members of the FDNY who made the ultimate sacrifice saving and protecting others in the line of duty.
The high-tech 53-foot tractor trailer transforms into a 1,000-square-foot exhibit that helps further educate citizens around the country about the events of the tragic day. The exhibit includes interactive education, including steel beams from the towers and other 9/11 artifacts, documentary videos and recordings of first-responder radio transmissions and interactive guided tours from FDNY heroes.
In 2013, the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation launched its 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit to memorialize the tragedy. The Siller family started the foundation to honor the memory of their brother, Stephen, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on 9/11. The foundation was built upon the mantra “while we have time, let us do good” and continues Stephen’s legacy by supporting our nation’s first responders and service members.
At 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, local first responders will meet the 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit trailer at the New York State Thruway Exit 42 in Geneva and escort the 18-wheeler from the exit, up Route 318 to del Lago Resort & Casino.
The exhibit will be located in the del Lago Resort & Casino (1133 State Route 414, Waterloo) parking lot June 20-26 and will be open from 2-8 p.m. during the weekday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on the weekend. The 9/11 tribute exhibit is free and open to all ages however, donations to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation are welcome.

To further mark the occasion, del Lago Resort & Casino will welcome Lee Greenwood, country music icon and singer of the popular patriotic song “God Bless the USA.” Greenwood will perform a full show at 8 p.m. Friday, June 22, at del Lago’s The Vine.
