Weather permitting, Wednesday night marks the unofficial kickoff to the busy summer road work season in Auburn.
City Manager Jeff Dygert admitted on Wednesday’s Finger Lakes Morning News the work downtown over the past few weeks has been a pain.
The milling and paving of Genesee Street is scheduled to begin this evening, with hopes that the nearly two miles of Genesee will be freshly paved by the fall.
While the Genesee project winds down the work on replacing the North Division Street bridge will get underway.
