Martha Baroody Monser, 96, went to be with her Lord on March 24, 2018. A longtime resident of Waterloo, N.Y., Martha was born on December 15, 1921 in Geneva, N.Y. the daughter of Norman and Susan (Jacobs) Baroody.
Martha was a graduate of Geneva High School and Ontario Business Institute and employed as a Bookkeeper for the Brady Ice Company and Secretary for Sampson Naval Hospital. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 47 years Salvatore “Sam” F. Monser. They owned and operated Monser’s Grocery Store in Oneonta, NY. She was an Election Inspector, a former member of Geneva Woman’s Club and a Member of St. Paul’s Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, loved to cook, bake, garden, play cards and dominos.
She is survived by her children, Norma Morse, Lyn (Henry Kaczmarczyk) Maine, Carol (William) Kulikowsky, Steven Monser. Grandchildren, Kimberley Morse Bullman, Jeffrey(Marie)Kulikowsky, Keri Kulikowsky, Kellie(Deepak)Jesrani, and Great-Grandsons, Alexandre Kulikowsky, Nicholas Kulikowsky, Dashiell Jesrani and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Martha is predeceased by her siblings Julia Simon, George Baroody, Frieda Abraham, Jack Baroody, Moses Baroody, Michael Baroody, Betty Baker and Norman Baroody.
A memorial service will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Waterloo, NY on June 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial at Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo, NY.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
