Martin C. DiSanto, 80, passed away on Thursday (May 10, 2018) at the Newark Wayne Community Hospital.
Friends may call on Tuesday (May 15) from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Baris Funeral Home, 87 W. Genesee St. in Clyde. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m on Wednesday (May 16) at St. John’s Church, 114 Sodus St. in Clyde. Entombment will be in St. John’s Cemetery.

Mr. DiSanto was born on April 3, 1938 in Auburn, the son of the late Thomas and Margaret Zeller DiSanto. Marty served eight years in the Naval Reserves and four years in the Air National Guard. He retired from the Newark Developmental Center where he was the Transportation Supervisor. He was a member of the former Clyde American Legion. Marty was a member of the Clyde Lions Club. Mr. DiSanto was a communicant of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.
Marty is survived by his wife, Marie Lauster DiSanto; son, David DiSanto of Auburn; two daughters Jennifer (Joseph) Kivett of Orlando Fla., Heather DiSanto of Arcade, N.Y.; six grandchildren Joshua, Katie, Philip, Mackenzi, Connor and Bristol; two brothers Richard (Mary) DiSanto of Auburn and Donald DiSanto of Syracuse.
He was predeceased by his brother, Leroy DiSanto
