A 26 year old Penn Yan woman faces multiple charges in Seneca County following an alleged shoplifting incident at the Seneca Falls Walmart store.
According to Seneca Falls Police, Sabrina Williams was observed by asset protection employees taking merchandise past all points of sale with no attempt to pay for them. When confronted, Williams got into her car and took off towards Waterloo. Waterloo and Seneca Falls police searched for Williams’ car, and once it was spotted, she failed to comply with their attempted traffic stop and continued to flee. After a short pursuit, Williams was taken into custody.
The Seneca Falls Police Department charged her with petit larceny, while the Waterloo Police Department charged Williams with failing to comply with a lawful order, reckless driving, failure to stop for a stop sign, speeding and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
She was sent to jail following her arraignment.
