The race for the 54th state Senate seat this November looks to be a re-run of the 2016 election.
Rose Town Supervisor Kenan Baldridge will announce his candidacy for the Democratic nomination for the state senate seat Saturday. Baldridge lost to Republican Pam Helming in the 2016 by almost 32-THOUSAND votes. Baldridge says he will discuss some important reasons for the campaign and why the residents of the 54th should replace the incumbent senator.
Baldridge plans to make his official announcement Saturday afternoon at the Wayne County Courthouse.
