A Geneva man pleaded guilty in Ontario County Court Friday to a felony charge of criminal sale of a controlled substance.
The Finger Lakes Times reports Maurice Maxon will get 11 years in prison when sentenced in July. In 2017, Maxon pleaded guilty to a similar charge for selling cocaine in Geneva and was scheduled to be sentenced to 3.5 years in prison. While Maxon was free on bail, he was again arrested for selling cocaine, this time to a Geneva Police Department informant.
If convicted of both charges, Maxon faced up to 30 years behind bars.
