A Fayette man was struck by a car as he was riding his bicycle in Waterloo Wednesday afternoon.
44 year old Mary Thomas, of Seneca Falls, was traveling east on West Main Street around 4 o’clock when she attempted to pull into the parking lot of Waterloo Village Court. Thomas failed to see 54 year old Gregory Bianchi riding his bike in the bicycle lane, resulting in a collision. Bianchi was ejected from his bike. He was taken to Geneva General Hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
Thomas was issued a ticket.
