The sister of the New Jersey man accused of murdering his ex-wife in Corning last August is now in Steuben County Jail.
Wendy Bonilla was extradited from California this week and was booked at the Steuben County Jail Thursday on felony charges of attempted bribery of a witness and conspiracy. Bonilla and her brother, Lloyd Neurauter, are accused of conspiring and agreeing to attempt to influence the testimony of a witness in Neurauter’s murder case by offering a benefit to that witness in exchange for changing previous testimony to favor the 46-year old’s defense.
Lloyd Neurauter and his daughter, Karrie, are accused of killing Michelle Neurauter and staging it to look like a suicide. Karrie Neurauter pleaded guilty to a charge of second-degree murder in March in exchange for a lesser sentence.
Lloyd Neurauter is currently being held in the Livingston County Jail.
