Last week’s road work at Prospect and Franklin Streets unofficially kicked off the road repair season in Auburn. Auburn City Council last week passed a resolution approving a $1.2 Million bond, part of which will go toward repairing city streets.
City Clerk Chuck Mason said on Friday’s Finger Lakes Morning News the state budget contains only a tiny bit of good news.
Additional funding will come from a portion of the bond funds.
The combination of the bond funds and state aid will finance several smaller road projects throughout the city.
