The members of the Ontario County Republican Committee convened at the Inn on the Lake for their county-wide meeting on April 3, 2018, and endorsed Kitty Karle as the Republican candidate for Ontario County Judge
Kitty Karle is honored to have received an endorsement by the Ontario County Conservative Party as well. “I believe the Republican Committee and the Ontario County Conservative party have endorsed me based upon my extensive courtroom experience but also on my commitment to serving the community and my core values: integrity, honesty, impartiality, and fundamental fairness,” stated Kitty Karle.
Kitty Karle gave the following statement after receiving the endorsement last night: “I am truly honored to have received the endorsement for Ontario County Judge from the Ontario County Republican Committee. During the last two months, I have had the amazing opportunity to address town and city Republican Committees across our great county. At each meeting, I am reminded and encouraged by the commitment of the members of the Ontario County Republican committee to learn about candidates, to research candidates and to interview candidates for qualification and experience. I am proud of my over 20 years of experience in the courtroom, dealing with both criminal and family court cases, and I am proud that Ontario County Republican Committee chose me to be their endorsed candidate. This is a great honor and I will work tirelessly to prove to the voters that the committee endorsed the right candidate.”
Kitty Karle is born and raised in Ontario County and lives in Honeoye with her husband John, and two sons, Johnny and Henry. She has a law office on Gorham Street in Canandaigua and focuses her practice on criminal defense and family law, exactly the types of cases she would preside over if elected Ontario County Court Judge. Kitty Karle served as a prosecutor for over 13 years and has been in private practice for the last seven years. “I believe that my vast courtroom experience in front of the bench has prepared me for the bench. People appearing in Family Court and Criminal Felony Court expect and deserve to appear before a judge who has actual experience handling these types of case,” said Kitty Karle.
Kitty Karle also extended special thanks to Chairwoman Trisha Turner for leading the committee and the endorsement meeting with integrity, fairness, and transparency.
