Denver-based Frontier Airlines is coming to Syracuse’s Hancock International Airport.
Officials with the discount carrier were at the airport on Wednesday to announce Frontier will begin offering nonstop flights to Denver and Raleigh in July and service to Chicago and Orlando in August.
Airport Authority Chair Patrick Mannion calls Frontier’s commitment a strong affirmation of the Authority and airport’s focus bringing additional carriers to provide a broad array of affordable destinations. Rob Simpson, president of CenterState CEO says the new flights open new access for visitors to Syracuse, new choices for the community and will have a real impact on our economy.
Frontier will be offering introductory one-way rates as low as $29.
