The 4-H department of Cornell Cooperative Extension on Cayuga County is offering youth a chance to explore the multitude of agribusiness opportunities available to them.
4-H Youth Development Community Educator Emma Foster said on Friday’s Finger Lakes Morning News the four month long Agricultural Career Exploration Program is funded by a grant from the NY State Ag Society.
The four month long program focuses on STEM and its applications in the ag industry.
Foster added the program was originally for 10th to 12th graders, but they’ve opened it up to younger students and to youth outside of Cayuga County.
The program includes workshops, and day trips and students can pick and choose to suit their interests. For information or to register contact Emma Foster by email or by calling 315-255-1183 ext. 224.
