A group of Schuyler County restaurant owners are joining forces to have their voices heard on Governor Andrew Cuomo’s recently proposed bill that would eliminate the minimum wage tip credit. Curt Connelly is owner of Curly’s Family Restaurant in Watkins Glen. He and other local business owners are concerned this bill will jeopardize their business.
Connelly says the increase will impact tourism as well.
Connelly and his colleagues are asking residents to attend tonight’s Schuyler County legislative session at 6:30 at the Chambers in Watkins Glen in a show of support for local restaurant owners.
