Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb has officially thrown his endorsement behind Marc Molinaro for Governor of New York.
In a statement released Monday, Kolb said, “I can say with confidence that he is everything Albany needs, because he is everything that Albany is not.”
During his Friday appearance on the Finger Lakes Morning News, Kolb said many of his supporters also like Molinaro.
The text of Assemblyman’s Kolb’s endorsement is below:
I proudly support Marc Molinaro to be the next governor of New York State. I have known Marc for many years – as a friend, as a colleague and as a tireless public servant. I can say with confidence that he is everything Albany needs, because he is everything that Albany is not. For seven years, New York has moved down an unsustainable path, with corruption at an all-time high and public trust at an all-time low. In contrast, Marc has established himself as a proven leader who actually listens. He has been a partner to the people he serves. And he has been an innovator who thinks differently when challenges arise. The potential of New York State has been stymied by Albany’s status-quo for too long. I have no doubt that Marc will bring selfless ideas, a collaborative spirit, and genuine integrity that our executive chamber sorely lacks. This isn’t about making a change for change’s sake. It’s about making the right change, for our families, for our state, and for our future. The right change is Marc Molinaro.
