Marcia J. Wilson, 69, of Weedsport, passed away Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, at Auburn Community Hospital.
Marcia was born in Auburn on Oct. 9, 1948, the daughter of Henry and Ina Sheftic Alcock. She was employed by Arby’s in Weedsport. She loved crocheting, NASCAR, camping, fishing and sitting around a campfire with her family.
She is survived by her companion of 31 years, Rodney Ames Sr.; daughters, Tina Workman, of Port Byron, Tammy Rand, of Cato, and Jeannette (Bud) Dierksen, of Port Byron; sons, Ronald (Kerry) Wilson, and Michael (Polly) Wilson, both of Port Byron; children’s father, Ronald Wilson Sr.; stepchildren, Rodney Ames Jr., Randy Ames and Christine Ames, all of Auburn, and Rebecca Ames, of Weedsport; siblings, Karen Holbert, of Massachusetts, Pamela Netzer, Terri Alcock, Wendy Hetherington, and Joseph Alcock, all of Auburn, Scott Hetherington, of Scipio, and Lori Wakeman, of Chittenango; 21 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, at the Audioun Funeral Home LLC, 218 Main St., Port Byron. Memorial services will follow at 7:15 p.m. at the funeral home.
