An Auburn man has pleaded guilty to a felony charge of promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child.
An investigation into Christopher Harrington was launched last March after police received information through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. A search warrant at Harrington’s Walnut Street home revealed he possessed and distributed several images and videos of children, some as young as seven years old. Harrington could receive up to a decade behind bars, but Judge Mark Fandrich agreed to sentence him to six months in jail and 10 years probation on March 27th.
Harrington will also have to register as a sex offender.
