Bryan P. “Dadster” Belknap, 44 died Friday (February 9, 2018) at his home in Phelps.
Friends are invited to join the family for a service to be offered at 7 p.m. Thursday (February 15) in the Cheche Funeral Home Inc. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. prior to the service in the funeral home, 1778 Clark Street Road., Auburn.
Born in Auburn, Bryan was a graduate of Port Byron High School, Class of 1992. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed watching WWE Wrestling and playing horseshoes. Above all Bryan loved the time he spent with his family, and especially cherished the long driving trips with his son, Cobe.
Bryan is survived by his parents Paul J. and Norma E. Becker Belknap of Port Byron; Walter Wallace, who influenced his life as if he were another parent; his devoted companion, Tonya Sergent of Phelps; son, Cobe J.P. Belknap of Phelps; daughter, Brittany Sergent of Phelps; sister, Sherry Bozek of Auburn; sister-in-law Shelley Sergent of Clifton Springs; nephews Brandon Bozek and Preston Sergent; niece, Mariah Sergent.
He was predeceased by his grandparents John and Ida Becker and Paul and Marion Belknap; great-grandmother, Alfrata Famoly.
