Auburn City Council holds two public hearings at Thursday evening’s meeting. The first will be on the final revision to the city zoning code, while the second will focus on how the city should use the Community Development Block Grant funds.
Concerns about the zoning code changes were raised at the last public hearing. As a result, the city restored the Specialized Commercial district and residential zoning along South Street and re-established the industrial zoning district in the northwest quadrant of the city.
It’s expected Council could vote to approve both issues following the public hearings.
