Arlene “Lee” Cattano-Mullineaux, 83 passed away peacefully at Huntington Living Center in Waterloo, N.Y., after a long illness on Tuesday (February 6, 2018).
There will be no funeral services, but a Celebration of Life will be held at the family’s convenience.
Born in the Bronx, N.Y., Arlene was an intelligent and classy woman who began working on Wall Street right out of high school until she married and had her daughter Susan Lee. Arlene was always active in community, school, and church activities throughout her entire life. Following an ever growing professional career, she eventually relocated in Lehigh Acres, Florida where she became a successful Real Estate Agent, as well as the manager of the Real Estate Rental departments of several large real estate companies in Lehigh Acres. She continued her community service volunteering at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, the Lee County Literacy Service and becoming a Guardian ad Litem in Lee County, advocating in the family court system for children at risk.
Arlene will be sadly missed by her daughter, Susan Lee (Michael) Dunphy of Waterloo, N.Y.; grandchildren Melissa (Michael) Morrin of Waterloo, Kelly (Jason) Edwards of West Chester, Pa., Shawn (Abby) Dunphy of Waterloo; and her great-granddaughters Madison Grace Morrin and Morgan Lee Morrin of Waterloo.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert “Bob” Cattano after 50 years of marriage, but found love again and married Wayne Mullineaux in 2006. They spent their winters in Lehigh Acres Florida and their summers in Surgoinsville, Tenn., until his death in 2011.
